Willow Wind Science and Environmental education provides a safe, fun, and challenging learning experience that enhances overall achievement in science subjects while fostering a deeper understanding of environmental concepts for local and global environmental stewardship. Students develop a sense of respect for the natural world, self, and others. Engaging, authentic hands-on classes offer unique learning experiences within the classroom as well as on campus property.

Students become active participants in science and environmental activities through learning and helping maintain the natural ecosystems, sustainable agriculture, and riparian restoration at Willow Wind. Three ponds, two creeks, a major riparian corridor, a spring, a large marshy wetland, and cultivated garden areas present an amazing natural laboratory for students to explore.

Classes are offered in a variety of scientific fields – brain science, engineering, technology, earth science and physical science.
