Willow Wind offers both grade specific and mixed age learning opportunities to all students. The core academic instruction happens in grade level groups, but during choice classes, events and unstructured time, students are intentionally grouped with others both younger and older. These multi- age groups bring together children from different grades to offer unique opportunities for learning and development.  Children in multi-age groups develop friendships and engage in learning jus with the added bonus of being able to access peer support and lead learning for other children. These flexible groupings also foster a strong sense of community and leadership in all of the students at Willow Wind.
