We would like to take this time to acknowledge and celebrate black history which is our joint history. We celebrate not only this month but every month.Â
Today’s quote comes from Kendrick Lamar who is considered one of  most influential hip-hop artists of his generation, and one of the greatest rappers of all time.
“Hip-hop is not the problem. Our reality is the problem of the situation. This is our music. This is us expressing ourselves.”
We look at not only traditional historical figures, but celebrate and highlight the history that is being written in the now.
