This Friday is Pi Day, March 14th, 3.14! The Math Honor Society is sponsoring a Pi Day celebration on the Quad at lunch. There will be pi temporary tattoos, pi pencils for those who know the first 10 digits of pi, and a pi walk, with the chance to win a free slice of pie! Come join the Pi Day Friday fun!

Attention students -- Check out this information flyer about a Forestry Training Camp happening March 24th through March 28th!
This is a week-long, paid to train intro to natural resource careers opportunity for TANF-eligible youth ages 16-18 from Jackson and Josephine counties. Work outdoors, get paid, and have fun this spring break! Mondays-Fridays, 40 hours a week, $18 an hour. Tools and safety equipment, meals, and transportation will be provided.
Explore careers in natural resources and gain hands-on experience in ecosystem restoration at several local sites, Learn about Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Practice using basic forestry tools, Learn about controlled burning and prescribed fire, and earn CPR/First Aid certification.

Congratulations to our AHS robotics team (Team 3024, My Favorite Team) who won the Creativity Award last weekend at the FIRST Oregon State Fairground Robotics competition in Salem. They won 6 out of 12 matches and were ranked 24th out of 36 teams at the competition and 40th out of 150 teams in Oregon.

Ashland High School DECA Team Shines at State Career Development Conference!
The Ashland High School DECA team showcased their talent and dedication at the State Career Development Conference in Portland, Oregon, competing against 1,256 students from across the state. Their remarkable performances demonstrated their expertise in business, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship. (Students who earned top rankings will be listed in the image to the right)
The students' hard work, teamwork, and perseverance were on full display, and their success highlights the strength of Ashland High School’s DECA program. Their outstanding achievements will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for future success in business and leadership.
Top qualifiers from this competition have now earned the opportunity to compete at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, from April 26-30. This prestigious event will allow them to showcase their skills on a global stage and further develop their professional expertise.

Join the team for our Spring Water Polo Season!
Come give water polo a try! March 31st through April 3rd, 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Daniel Meyer Pool. Open to everybody grades 6-12. Free to all players and all experience levels welcome!
Regular Spring Season is April 7th to May 22nd, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Mondays through Thursdays at Daniel Meyer Pool. All players must be registered with Ashland Water Polo, have a USA Water Polo Membership, and pay the club fee to participate. Scholarships are available. ALL players are welcome. Become part of a winning team as well as a fun, supportive community!

Ashland High School Presents: Little Women the Musical
Music by Jason Howland, Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, Book by Allan Knee, based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott.
The musical will be playing March 7th, 8th, 14th, and 14th at 7:00 pm as well as March 9th and 16th at 1:00 pm.
An understudy show will be held Tuesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm.
