Attention ALL SENIORS!!!! Mandatory Graduation meeting right now during TCB in the Theater. We will discuss Graduation Schedule, Parade of Scholar, Graduation Ceremony… Please make your way over to the Theater after announcements.
Students interested in metal fabrication can come learn about a summer Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program with Erickson Aviation during TCB today in the library! This six-week apprenticeship will be held two days a week from 3:00-6:00 pm in Central Point and will be hands-on, allowing students to put theory into practice and apply their knowledge in real-world settings that could lead to future jobs.
Tonight and tomorrow at 7 p.m. Ashland High School Choir and Theatre will perform their classwork. songs and senior solos as well as three student directed one act plays in Theatre 1/2 and the directing class. Secoya Joquin will also show his animated film! Come enjoy tonight and tomorrow at 7 p.m.!
AP Summer Homework meetings will be happening over the next two weeks. If you are registered for an AP Course next year, it is required that you attend the meeting. Be sure to check the Grizz-o-Gram and posters around school for details about meetings.
If you are enrolled in AP US History next year, you must attend a meeting in Mr. Huard's room, H-34, on Tuesday, May 30th during lunch to receive the summer homework and crucial information for next year.

Juniors, there is a mandatory meeting for junior students during TCB on June 1st. There will be a presentation to get juniors oriented to their senior year. Counselors will cover post-secondary planning, class credits, and prep students for their senior project. Jen will cover Aspire mentors, the College Handbook and more. Admin will cover senior year project.


Our Ashland Grizzlies baseball team will host the La Salle Prep Falcons in the second round of the Baseball State Championships! First pitch is 5:00 pm, Friday, May 26.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children and students. The first 50 students in attendance will get in for free! The baseball game will also be streamed through the NFHS Network for a fee. If you already have a subscription to the NFHS Network, you will be able to watch for free as part of your subscription. The NFHS Network will stream all games throughout the entire tournament.

Math team had a great trip to University of Oregon this past weekend.
Please congratulate these students on attending state and representing Ashland. We are very proud of them!
Samuel (AMS) took 3rd place in Calculus.
Raphael , Sayjune , and Olive (AMS)took 4th place in the team event.
Raphael also won the Doritos Ratio Challenge.


Lunch meetings for AP courses will be happening from May 29th-June 7th. If you are enrolled in an AP course for next year, attending the meeting is required to ensure can follow through with the requirements and receive your summer homework assignments. Sip boba! Get your face painted! Screenprint your own t-shirt! Dunk Senor Atanes! This Wednesday on the 24th after school is our first ever Solidarity Celebration.
Presented by Black Student Union, Native American Student Union, Latino Student Union, Asian Student Union, Queer-Straight Alliance, and Women's Affinity Group, the event will include delicious food, live performances, and activities. Entry is free, and you can purchase discounted activity tickets on the Quad on Monday and Tuesday at lunch! Students who are registered for free & reduced lunch can pick up free activity tickets at the front office.
Do you need more community service hours for your service learning credit?
• You can earn community service hours at the Solidarity Celebration on Wednesday. Volunteer for any amount of time between 1:00 and 5:30 by contacting Shane Abrams or Kathy Martin before 3:00pm today.
• The music department is cataloging music and creating a database of band and choir music. If you are interested, please contact Ivan Olinghouse!

Our girls tennis team took the MWL Championship this past weekend!
Veronica Miller finished 1st, Talia Vivrett and Savannah Witnauer took 1st for doubles, and Frida Salokat and Lola Poujol-vara took 4th.
All five will now compete at the State Tournament, this Friday and Saturday.

Prom is on May 20th! It’ll be a Night at the Oscars! Tickets will be on sale this week on the quad at lunch. Tickets are $20. On that note, Guest forms for the Prom are available in the Main Office. If you want to bring a guest to Prom turning in this form is mandatory. All Guest forms are due TODAY no later than 4pm. Late forms will not be accepted. No Exceptions.
A reminder that student parking Is in the lower Mountain lot only. If you are parked anywhere else on campus, you’ll receive a warning and potentially have your car booted. In addition, parking in the fire lane at Lincoln is a safety ordinance violation and will be handled by the City of Ashland. Parking here will lead to towing. Thanks for helping keep campus safe.

Rogue Girls Fire Camp is a great way to explore the exciting career of fire fighting.

Volunteers are needed this Saturday, May 6th. If you are interested, please show up at 10am Saturday morning to the new building at 364 Walker Ave. and be ready to help move boxes and furniture. Any help is appreciated!
