Careers in Gear Event -
AHS is excited to take interested juniors and seniors to the annual Careers in Gear (CIG) event on April 25th at the Jackson County Expo. This powerful one-day career fair provides students the opportunity to interact with over 100 local business and education professionals to learn about many of the exciting career and education pathways available in our region. Check out the video to learn more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQSVEyJ7tXY
Many of the businesses will be hiring for both part and full-time jobs, and will have information about positions available and how to apply at the fair. Students looking for jobs are encouraged to bring their resumes. Juniors and seniors interested in attending the event can sign up and get a field trip permission form at the front desk in the Library.
Please look for an email from Jen Marsden with more information on CIG and reach out to her with any questions. AHS can only take a limited number of students so sign up and turn in your completed permission form asap!
