It has been great to see students on campus in the afternoons over the past two weeks. As great as it has been to see some students for two hours a day, we have definitely wanted to see more of our students more often. Luckily, the state guidance has recently changed and will allow us to do that.Expanded In-Person Instruction
Starting Monday, April 26 we will greatly expand our in-person learning opportunities. We will provide in-person learning for all students that want it, 4 days per week M, T, TH, F, in all 3 classes per day. In the new model, Wednesday will stay the same as it is now with a Zoom Advisory class, Office Hours and Applied Learning time.
There will still be a CDL option for families and students that want to remain off campus. More information will be coming on what that will look like for students.
Please look for a new Commitment Survey early next week in addition to more detailed information from us. We will combine our current Group A and B students into one hybrid group and allow any CDL students to opt-in to the in-person model. The new hybrid schedule will allow much more robust in-person learning experiences, much greater opportunities for social interaction and the elimination of the confusing aspects of our current schedule. This has been a recent development and we are deep in planning at the moment. More information to come in the very near future.Be well and take care!
