Principal's Update

Hello Grizzlies,

We look forward to seeing many of you on Monday, April 26th! We have been working hard to prep and be ready for expanded in-person classes. Teachers have also been hard at work on preparing their CDL lessons to make sure we continue to serve our at-home learners as well. We are all Grizzlies whether we are learning on campus or from home.

We hope that you have all had the opportunity to review the videos on the expectations that all students need to follow while one campus. In case you missed them, we have included the videos below. You can find our new bell schedule in this newsletter. In addition, we have included the videos as well as other helpful information regarding in-person learning and expectations for our CDL students on our website.

For our bus riders, you can find information about bus stops and routes on the district transportation page here.

For CDL students, regardless of the method of instruction your teacher is using, please be prepared to access their Zoom links for a live check in with your teacher during class time. Please reach out to your teachers directly if you have questions. Some teachers will be using Edgenuity, an online courseware system, to support students in CDL. Teachers received training this week on Edgenuity and will be reaching out directly to students with directions about onboarding students and getting them logged in next week.

For our in-person students, we are very excited to welcome you back to campus! Please remember to always wear your mask, wash your hands or use sanitizer frequently and to stay socially distanced 3ft in classrooms and 6ft during passing periods and lunch. Those are the biggest things you can do to keep yourself and the school community safe. Also, please plan on bringing a device, such as a laptop or tablet, to school. If you don’t have a device to bring, please let your teacher know and we will have a limited supply of devices to check out to you in the library. We also have more on order.

Together, we will make this a successful transition!

Best,

Benjamin Bell
