SELL SELL SELL those Raffle TIckets! Check out this prize!
A FOUR-DAY WILD & SCENIC ROGUE RIVER TRIP FOR ONE! This prize is worth $1K in monetary value, but priceless in terms of the amazing life experience of floating the Rogue. The icing on this sweet cake is ARTA River Trips (the company that donated this prize) is a non-profit that gives all their profits to environmental groups like KS Wild at the end of the year. They usually don't issue gift certificates for raffles but felt compelled to support the JMMS students and mission.
A note from Amy Stewart: "I guided for ARTA for more than 13 years. I can tell you that this is a superb company that loves sharing rivers with its guests and does a especially phenomenal job guiding families down rivers. Families routinely come back year after year to raft with ARTA (ARTA runs rivers out of four states). If you'd like to know more about ARTA or the Wild & Scenic Rogue, please don't hesitate to talk to me (or my two kids-- Azure and River-- they have both been down the river multiple times). I can assure you this trip will be a life highlight."
SELL RAFFLE TICKETS TO BENEFIT
JMMS OUTDOOR ED, ART, & MUSIC programs
JMMS RAFFLE is PTCís biggest fundraiser for 2016/2017. We need all families to help sell raffle tickets so we can meet our budget goals for Outdoor Ed, Art, & Music. Please help your child sell tickets in the community, to family, and to friends. Each student will have 25 tickets to sell. Please help your child to keep tickets/money organized and turned in. Contact a PTC officer if you need more tickets to sell.
WHAT TO DO:
As soon as you get your tickets, write your name on the back of all the stubs- sellers of winning tickets win a prize!
When you sell a ticket, collect contact info on each ticket and keep stub. Give the other half to the ticket to the buyer if they want it (they donít need it to win)
Turn $ and ticket stubs in at school- two boxes are on Lauraís desk in the office (one for $ and one for stubs. CASH or checks to JMMS PTC)
Sign up to sell raffle tickets at grocery stores! Sign up is in the office on the wall
When selling tickets, remind your children of typical safety protocol
