Who is BOB? Here at Ashland School District we believe the opportunity to choose more fruits and vegetables is vital to helping students develop healthy habits. To support that, we have created the Bottomless Offering Bar. A student who buys lunch OR breakfast at our school cafeterias can continue choosing fruits and vegetables until they are done.
Please be sure you have filled out and turned in a new application for Free and Reduced Meal Benefits for School Year 16-17. They can be submitted anytime of year.
Last month was radishes, be sure to ask what you student thought!
Did you know…?
-Qualifying for at least Reduced Meal Price benefits can have your student eating both breakfast and lunch every school day for FREE!!
-Those Meal Benefit applications do more than help children get a hot, healthy breakfast and lunch every day. The demographic information on them (no names or other specifics) is used by Oregon Department of Education to help allocate dollars for classrooms to help support reading. Ashland School District encourages all families to investigate the possibility of receiving meal benefits so if you haven’t filled out an application this year be sure to pick one up at your school, print one from the website or use the link on the website to fill one out online and save the paper. Don’t forget to fill out the information waiver as well for scholarships.
