How to Register


How to Register for Returning Students to the Ashland School District
The Ashland School District is excited to announce an online student registration/data validation system for the upcoming school year, powered by InfoSnap. The system is a secure and green process, which allows the district to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for your child prior to the start of the new school year. The system will also allow you to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies. This online process replaces the hard copy student registration and permission forms you typically complete over the summer.

We would appreciate all families taking action and completing these forms as soon as possible after receiving the letter/email. Your studentís registration will not be complete until you successfully submit the forms. If you do not have access to the Internet, you can use the school kiosk during one of the school registration drop in times. If you have any further questions, please contact the school office.

To pay school feels and families who are unable to complete the online registration process, may drop in during one of the drop in registration times:
August 2017 Registration Dates
August 9  11:30am - 1:30pm & 3:30pm - 7:00pm
August 10   8:30am - 11:00am & 1:00-3:30
August 14   8:30am - 12:00pm

If your student is a strong Advanced Placement candidate, there is a placement process and summer homework (last year's details available here- summer 2017 homework will be available in June). August placement in an AP class is based on space available and a student's proven academic abilities.
  1. Complete the online registration process - CLICK HERE
  2. Take a math placement test - To sign up, email Include your first and last name, the name of your last math class, and the grade you are entering in that email. Math placement test will be available on Wednesday, August 9 from 10-1PM, Monday, August 14 from 12-2PM, Monday, August 14 from 12-2PM and Monday, August 28 after school in Room H-25. The test will take approximately two hours.
  3. Request a copy of your transcript from your current school
  4. Complete a draft of a 4 year plan (download PDF here).
  5. Schedule a New Student Counselor Meeting - Email during the school year, or during the summer
  6.  Application for Free & Reduced Lunch - CLICK HERE
  7. Pay Student Fees - Cash or check made out to Ashland Middle School
  8. Deposit Money in Student Lunch Account - Please pay separate from the school fee above, Cash or check made out to Ashland High School

  3. Pay Student Fees - Cash or check made out to Ashland Middle School or pay online by logging into your parent PowerSchool account at and clicking on 'School and Library Fees' from the left navigation menu
  4. Deposit Money in Student Lunch Account - Please pay separate from the school fee above, Cash or check made out to Ashland High School

Don't forget that in Ashland Schools, all students entering grade 9 OR who are new to the district at any grade level OR families who changed address within the last year must provide proof of residency during the registration process.

Please be prepared with two original documents, one from each group:
(Document Type 1) A real estate / rental document such as a lease, property tax bill, or mortgage statement.
(Document Type 2) A bank statement, credit card bill, pay stub, social security paperwork, insurance document, or a utility bill with your name and address listed. We are unable to accept telephone bills or driver's licenses.
