Principal's Update

Hello Grizzlies,

I hope that you are all doing well. I can’t believe that next week brings our first semester to an end. I am deeply thankful to our teachers and staff that have worked so hard and made so many adjustments to make the first half of the year as successful as possible. Big shout out to our students for working so hard every day and hanging in there.

Parents and students, we will have a bond site team meeting with the architects that are helping us with the AHS Bond project. If you're interested in attending please reach out to me so I can supply you with a link. This is a great opportunity to learn about the status of the project and the exciting design upgrades and changes that are in store for our Humanities and Science buildings.

Please remember to check the announcements and calendars below. We have an altered bell schedule for finals week. It's important that you are aware of the changed class times so you don't miss a class/test. Remember to get plenty of sleep Sunday night and eat a nutritious breakfast so you are in top shape to do your best.

We are currently exploring ideas for hybrid instruction in the spring. There are many things to consider and plan for. Please look for a survey from us early next week so that we can gather information on the interest level for a hybrid schedule of some kind. The high school schedule is complex. Nevertheless, we are excited to explore possible in-person opportunities as we assess what is possible. As plans take shape we will be sharing out more information.

Best,

Benjamin Bell
