Principal's Update
Hello Grizzlies!
I want to acknowledge and thank our families for their continued support of students during distance learning. I know that distance learning can be stressful on families and students. The support, structure, and encouragement you provide for your student is a key factor to their success. As always, at AHS we stand ready to be partners with our families to ensure that we are doing everything we can to support them and provide pathways to success. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your student’s counselor, teachers and administration. We are happy to help.
Students, thank you to those of you that filled out our School Climate Survey that asked you about your experience so far with distance learning. Your feedback matters! We have already started going through your responses and developing plans of support and thinking about ways that we can adjust to make this year as successful as possible for you.
I know that with school happening in this virtual format, we need a break from our screens. I encourage everyone to find some time this weekend to get outside, put on a jacket and recharge in the brisk autumn air. We all need it!
Thank you to our students, families and staff for everyone’s hard work so far. We are all working together to make 2020 as successful as it can be.
