AHS class of 2020 and family members,
As we embark on the most unique high school graduation process in the history of public education in the United States, we are committed to giving you the celebration you deserve for your incredible accomplishments as you come to the end of your high school journey. Life is full of challenges and how we respond to those obstacles makes all the difference in how we experience this our time on this planet. As you launch into the “real world,” we know you are up to the task of seeing all difficulties as opportunities to change the world for the better! We believe in you!
We truly love and care for all of you. Each of you is a unique individual who has made an impact in our school community. You matter! We will celebrate you! It will just look different than how we have celebrated in the past. You will have the most memorable graduation experience AHS has ever had, as this time in our society will be remembered for generations. You are extra special so we are committed to making the weeks ahead extra special for you!
Here’s what we’ve got cookin’…

Prom - Saturday, May 9
Prom is an important part of one's high school experience and we are sad that we will not be able to host an in person dance this year. However, a team of dedicated staff members is working on making May 9th a special night!
  • Music!
Our DJ will be hosting a live stream set from the platform "Twitch"! Tune in to listen to your favorite tunes and even see some pictures from this past year. Send in some of your memories with your friends from school, events, games, etc to be featured! Email pictures Nora.godfrey-dismuk@ashland.k12.or.us.

  • Zooms!
Since y'all can't get to ready and go out to dinner with your Prom Group, put on your best Prom attire and invite your friends to a Zoom hang out! Listen to the DJ together, dance around in your dresses & tuxes, and take creative and collaborative screenshots of your Zoom party! Send in your screenshots to Nora Godfrey & the most creative screenshots have a chance to win a prize!
  • SENIORS VIP PROM (Virtual Including PIZZA!)
We want to make sure Prom Night is a night to remember. On the evening of May 9th, AHS Staff will deliver Pizzas and Flowers to you!
Make sure you fill out the form below and let us know your location & any dietary restrictions you might have. Even if you don't want a pizza & flower delivery, please let us know in the form, as well.  SENIOR PIZZA DELIVERY FORM CLICK HERE!
Pizza deliveries are only for seniors. Please fill out this form by Monday, May 4th & spread the word to other seniors.
Mark your calendars, get your Zoom meetings scheduled, and find your fancy Prom clothes! We will see you "at" Prom!
Caps & Gowns Drive Through - Friday, May 15
Caps & Gowns are on their way!
On Friday March 15th between 5:30pm-7:30pm, Caps & Gowns will be ready for pick up via Titus Alley in the gym parking lot off of Morse St.
Returning Library Books: this is the time to do so! Bring any school books/text books you still have. We will have a drop off when you pick up your cap & gown.
Senior All Night parent committee will have some special gifts for you special people on this special day.

It might still be possible to order and we also have a limited supply of used ones that we are willing to share at no cost—first come, first served!

Celebrating Seniors with individual lawn signs and solar lights—Dates TBD
We have ordered personalized lawn signs and a solar light for each member of the class of 2020.
These will be displayed on Siskiyou Boulevard for a week and then they will be yours to come and take home as our gift to you.
Once the orders arrive, we will let y’all know the specific dates you will be the featured billboard rock stars of Ashland!
Graduation Car Parade - Friday, May 29
Although we have postponed our traditional Graduation ceremony in Lithia Park to July 10th, we still want to celebrate you on the originally scheduled day of May 29th! AHS will be hosting a 2020 Graduation Car Parade on the evening on May 29th and invite you and your family to attend. Dress in your caps & gowns! Decorate your car!  Get your household family in your car!
One graduating Senior per vehicle (exceptions made for siblings who are both in the class of 2020)
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.---route details and map coming soon.
With social distancing regulations in mind, you must remain in your car at all times. We will provide more information in the next coming weeks about arrival location & other guidelines.
At the conclusion of the parade, we encourage all families to process to the campus of the Ashland elementary school that you attended for our traditional, popular Parade of Scholars. Your elementary teachers and staff will be waiting there to cheer you on from a safe social distance while you remain in your vehicle.
