This is a message for the class of 2020.
Many of you have expressed uncertainty and concerns about how the school closure will impact graduation and your plans post high school. Understandably.
You stand at a remarkable moment in history. Or if you are following social distance guidelines, you may be lounging around the house at a remarkable moment in history. Either way, I want to offer you some reassurance. While we don’t have all of the answers yet, I offer an update below and a reminder that there will be a path forward for every member of the class of 2020.
There are still some conversations occurring with the Oregon Department of Education. I anticipate that those will resolve quickly and favorably, and we can offer additional updates soon.
Prior to break, I sent out the answers to some questions posed by seniors. I am re-posting some below and will continue to do so as issues are resolved at the state level.
