Position: Student Advocate
Work Site: John Muir Outdoor School
Hours/FTE: 6.5 hours per day /.8125 FTE; Temporary
Employment Period: 10/13/2020 – 6/30/2021
 
Qualifications:       
  1. An associate’s (or higher) degree, or two years of post-secondary study.
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Computer literacy preferred.
  4. Comfortable with regular lunchtime and detention supervision
  5. Ability to focus on positive attendance interventions
  6. Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
 
Job Summary:
To work with the school counseling team in partnership with classroom teachers for the benefit of students so they engage themselves intellectually and emotionally in socially appropriate manners.
                                   
Salary: $16.33 per hour
