Budget Committee


The Ashland School Board of Education is seeking candidates for three Budget Committee Members. There is one opening for a term ending June 30, 2019 and two for terms ending June 30, 2020. Requirements for the positions are: must be a registered voter in the Ashland School District; must have established residency for a minimum of one year; must not be an officer or employee of the Ashland School District.

Budget Committee applicants are requested to submit a letter of application due at the district office, 885 Siskiyou Boulevard, by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016, or email a letter of application to Jacqueline.Schad@ashland.k12.or.us Letters of application should include name, address, telephone number, reasons for interest in serving on the budget committee, and references. In addition, the letter should state why the applicant feels he/she is qualified for the appointment. Questions may be directed to the Ashland Public Schools Administration Office, 885 Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland, Oregon, 97520, or call 482-2811 ext. 1119 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Length of Term
As scheduled 1-3 times every spring and usually once in the fall to review the impact of the new school year enrollment figures.
